Snow Fun in March

We didn't get a lot of snow this last winter so when we finally got a good snow, we were very excited.  I took the girls into Wichita to go sledding at a park near my sister's apartment.  It was their first real sledding experience!  Megan and Emily really enjoyed it (although I actually probably enjoyed it the most.  I was so excited to take them sledding!), and poor Anna had a rougher experience due to a too small snowsuit.  The first time she went down the hill was fun, but her snowsuit was not very long on her (b/c it was a size too small) and the snow got on her skin and in her boots.  It ended in tears for her.  I was kicking myself for not putting long soccer socks on her (and the rest of my girls) to keep their legs covered when their snowpants rose up. Of course, we also enjoyed playing out in the snow and building snowmen as well.
Auntie KK and the girls all bundled up and ready to go.

Timothy 6 months

How is Timothy already 1/2 a year old?  He is 26 inches long and 17 pounds & 13 ounces.  Here are some cute pictures of our little guy in his 6th month!
He is as proud as can be in Nana's little rocking chair.

Timothy's first time in the bathtub!
My sweet baby!

Love his pretty blue eyes

Timothy rode on his first plane ride out to CA for Tim's grandma's funeral. He got to see his Grandpa and Grandma Armstrong again.  He also had another first in CA as his first two teeth broke through on the trip.

He is such a happy baby...rarely cries.

Enjoying his exersaucer

Emily is often by his side and today she was putting some glasses on him.

And everything goes in the mouth....no matter what it is!
Sweet Timothy, stop growing up so quickly.

Valentine's Day 2015

Valentine's Day is always a fun day to do some small special things throughout the day. It is fun to see the kids' excited faces throughout the day. Here are some pictures of memories we made from this year on Valentine's Day.

Chocolate donuts hearts for breakfast for the girls
The girls wanted to get me my breakfast so Emily got me some water out of the bathroom faucet,

and Megan broke up some doughnuts for me.  I don't believe I was able to eat all the doughnuts they gave me, but it was very sweet for them to want to get my breakfast!

Anna enjoying her doughnuts.

Some playtime outside with daddy...

Grandpa and Grandma Armstrong sent us a Valentine's Cookie box.  We enjoyed eating those sweets!

We had my parents, grandparents, and Uncle Justin and Auntie KK over for supper.  I made everyone Valentine place mats (That was about the extent of my creativity!)

The girls' table

Nana made a heart salad.

The girls enjoyed their calzones.

Uncle Justin and Auntie KK

Papa and Nana

The girls wrapped up "presents" (which were toys, books, etc they found downstairs!) and loved giving them presents!

The girls found this treasure for Auntie KK ....a commentary on Acts! (I believe Tim got that book back!)

Papa and Nana received many stuffed animals as their gifts.

We ended the night enjoying a fun game of Dominion!

My sweet Valentine:)
