Wedding Question?

I was just wondering what everyone thought was the best thing to throw, blow, etc. when the newlyweds leave from the church and get into their car. I need to make a decision what I want done at my wedding so I thought that I would ask advice from those who read my blog? Thanks so much for the input.

we did rose petals, mainly, because we knew their could be no 'catastrophes' with them, and they were free! we just went to local florists in Iron Mountain and asked if they could save them, then on the friday before, someone went around and picked them out for us. it worked out great!

I have never seen rose petals thrown at weddings, but I really like that idea!

Rose Petals are a great Idea, the only problem is that if they get stepped on they leave a red streak on the concrete. Does that just wash away or do you have to clean it?

hey I didn't know you had a blog!

Rose petals are the way to go! They can be dirt cheap too! We just got some roses that were on their way out or just a little tattered, from a florist, dismantled them and kept them in the fridge until time to toss. They make a beautiful picture.

We also had people pay $1 to see us kiss at the reception instead of the clanking glasses! We made a killing! The bigger the bill the better the kiss.

Good Luck!

We did rose petals. They were SOOO beautiful, and it felt so extravagant.

I wish I had thought of the dollar kiss. That's so brilliant!

Hey Kristen
Becky Adams here I thought I would throw in another idea. At our wedding we did sparklers! They were beautiful, but of course sparklers mean that it MUST be dark when you leave for the honeymoon!!! Hope you see you at graduation.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I found your blog through Conleys! Rose petals sound neat! We had bubbles, but due to extenuating circumstances, nobody really got to use them. The only thing is you have to be careful with bubbles because the soap can leave stains on your dress. Check out our blog at www.mitchells2000.blogspot.com Congrats again!

Feeling amused to read the answers to wedding question. I would also like to give my suggestion about cranky wedding ideas. Booking any of the wedding venues NYC and then looking for ideal catering services is needed. Desserts, beverages, DJ, and photography all need to affordable to plan a budgeted wedding.
